BugFix Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026

BugFix is published by SocialSure Private Limited. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version is that it does not collect any.

Data we collect

None. BugFix collects no personal data, no usage analytics, no crash telemetry and no identifiers.

The code you paste

Code you paste into BugFix is analysed entirely on your device. It is never uploaded, never stored by us and never shared with anyone. It exists only in the app's memory for as long as the app is open, and it is gone when you clear the field or close the app.

Permissions and network access

BugFix requests no Android permissions. It has no internet permission, so it is technically incapable of sending your code or anything else off the device. You can confirm this on the app's Play Store listing under "App permissions".

Third parties

BugFix contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no third-party SDKs that collect data.

Children

BugFix is a developer tool suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and the date above will change. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be to add a feature that does, and that would be described here before it shipped.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to SocialSure Private Limited through the developer contact details on the Google Play listing for BugFix.

BugFix is open source. The analysis runs from pattern rules bundled in the app binary; there is no server component.
