The US passport and visa, Canada visa, India passport and OCI rules reject edited photos, so for those five Cropmark only crops and sizes what you shot against a plain light wall. The India e-Visa, PAN card, China visa and your own sizes can have the background replaced.

Twelve checks before you save

Cropmark measures the photo against the document's rule and tells you what to fix while you are still at home.

  • Head height and eye line, in millimetres or percent
  • Centring, head tilt and facing the camera
  • Eyes open and mouth closed
  • Exposure, uneven lighting and a plain background
  • Enough pixels for the document's resolution

Your face never leaves the phone

Cropmark has no internet permission. Face detection and background removal run on the device, photos stay in the app's own storage, and you can back everything up to one file you keep.
