Loopwright collects nothing. This page explains what that means in practice.
Nothing. Loopwright does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that belongs to us.
Your songs, the layers inside them and the short recordings kept behind the compare toggle are written to this device's private app storage. Nothing is uploaded, because the app cannot open a network connection at all. Deleting a song deletes its recordings with it, Settings can erase everything in two taps, and uninstalling the app removes the lot.
Loopwright does not request the INTERNET permission. It cannot send your data anywhere, because Android will not let it open a network connection at all. This is verifiable in the app's manifest on the Play listing.
Loopwright is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
There are none. Loopwright contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash reporter. It does not use an advertising ID.
Because nothing is collected or transmitted, there is nothing held about you to access, correct or delete on a server. Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device. Any in-app export gives you a copy of your own content in an open format.
Loopwright asks Android for the microphone the first time you tap the record pad, and Android shows its own dialogue. While a take runs, the audio sits in memory and is analysed into a list of notes or drum hits. The analysis happens on this phone, in ordinary signal processing code, with no model and no server. What is kept afterwards is that list of notes, plus a short low quality copy of the take so you can hear your own voice against the instrument it became. Both live only on this device. The microphone is released when the app goes to the background.
Exporting a mix or its stems writes WAV files into this device's Downloads folder, at your tap. A file leaves the phone only if you choose to send it somewhere yourself, with an app you picked. Loopwright adds no watermark to your audio and claims nothing over what you make: your songs are yours, including commercially.
If you have Android's own backup to your Google account switched on, the operating system may include this app's data in that backup. That is a setting on your phone and an arrangement between you and Google. Loopwright does not perform it, cannot see it, and receives nothing from it. Switching it off for this app in your phone's settings stops it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
