Frameback is a paid, offline Android app. We do not operate an account system or server that receives your app records. There are no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Projects, viewpoints, original images, app-recorded capture/import times, embedded image dates and notes remain in local storage. If you enable foreground location and grant permission, a capture can include latitude, longitude and reported accuracy. Location is not requested in the background. Original imports may already contain embedded metadata, including location; unchanged-original exports preserve that metadata.
Camera access is requested only when you choose to capture a photo. Approximate/precise foreground location is optional and requested when you enable location capture. The Android photo picker handles selected imports. Frameback requests no broad photo-library or background-location permission.
Data leaves the app only when you deliberately export or share a file or result using Android. The recipient or destination app then handles that copy under its own policies. Backups and archives can contain private content; choose recipients carefully. No automatic cloud backup or synchronization is provided.
Your records remain in local app storage until you delete them, clear the app’s data or uninstall. Removing media records also removes their unreferenced local media files. Exports already saved elsewhere are independent copies and must be deleted separately. Keep a backup before uninstalling if you want to retain your data.
Google Play processes the upfront purchase and any refund. We do not receive your payment card details. If you email support, your email address and the information you send are used to respond through our email provider. Avoid attaching private files unless needed for your request.
The product is intended for an adult audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app.
This documentation site has no analytics, advertising, forms or tracking cookies. GitHub Pages hosts the site and may process technical access logs according to GitHub’s privacy statement. The app itself does not contact this website automatically.
