Patchwork collects nothing. This page explains what that means in practice.
Nothing. Patchwork does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that belongs to us.
The roster, the board, the bookings and the ledger are stored in this app's private storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded. The book leaves the phone only when you export it yourself and choose where it goes.
Patchwork does not request the INTERNET permission. It cannot send your data anywhere, because Android will not let it open a network connection at all. This is verifiable in the app's manifest on the Play listing.
Patchwork is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
There are none. Patchwork contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash reporter. It does not use an advertising ID.
Because nothing is collected or transmitted, there is nothing held about you to access, correct or delete on a server. Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device. Any in-app export gives you a copy of your own content in an open format.
You will type the names of neighbours into this book. They are stored on your device only, they are never transmitted, and they appear in an export only when you make one. Tell the people in your group that the book exists and who keeps it; that is a courtesy the app cannot perform for you.
Importing another keeper's file adds their people, bookings and ledger lines to yours, matched by id so a repeated merge changes nothing. It is the only way information moves between phones, and it moves because a person carried it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
