Pigment collects nothing. This page explains what that means in practice.
Nothing. Pigment does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that belongs to us.
Your paintings, your saved mixes and your settings are written to this device's private app storage. A painting is stored as the log of the strokes you made, not as an image, plus one small thumbnail for the drawer. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is backed up to us, and nothing is shared. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it, so Pigment can export everything as a single JSON file at any time, and can erase everything on request from the settings sheet.
Pigment does not request the INTERNET permission. It cannot send your data anywhere, because Android will not let it open a network connection at all. This is verifiable in the app's manifest on the Play listing.
Pigment is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
There are none. Pigment contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash reporter. It does not use an advertising ID.
Because nothing is collected or transmitted, there is nothing held about you to access, correct or delete on a server. Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device. Any in-app export gives you a copy of your own content in an open format.
Exporting a painting writes a PNG file, and recording a timelapse writes a WebM video file, into this device's Downloads folder using your own tap. Android then offers to share it. The file leaves the device only if you choose to send it somewhere yourself. Pigment never sends anything on its own.
Turning on tilt flow subscribes to the browser's device orientation event, so that gravity in the simulated water follows the way you lean the phone. The angle is used for one frame of physics and then discarded. It is never stored and never leaves the device, and the feature is off until you switch it on.
There is no sign up, no login and no in app purchase. Every pigment, paper, brush and tool in the app is available from the first launch. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no crash reporter in the bundle.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
