Portwarden is published by SocialSure Private Limited. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
None. Portwarden collects no personal data, no usage analytics, no crash telemetry and no identifiers. The game itself uploads nothing, anywhere.
Portwarden saves your run so you can put the phone down and come back to it. In the app's own private storage it keeps: the current run and the seed it was built from, a saved state for the morning of each day you have reached, one row per stamp you made (the ship, the verdict, the tag and whether the call was right), the permanent story choices you made, the entries waiting to appear in the port log, which endings you have reached, and your settings for theme, large document text and haptics. The app never sends any of it anywhere. Like most Android apps, Portwarden allows Android's own backup: if you have turned on device backup for your Google account, Android may include this save in that backup and restore it when you set up a new phone. That backup is kept by Android under your Google account, and we cannot see it.
Settings has a "Send save file" row. It writes a single JSON file into the app's cache and hands it to the Android share sheet, so the file goes only to the app you pick. A "Load save file" row reads such a file back through the system document picker and replaces your current run with it. To delete everything Portwarden has stored, uninstall the app, or open Android Settings, then Apps, then Portwarden, then Storage, and choose Clear storage. There is no account to close and nothing to request from us, because we hold nothing.
Portwarden requests no runtime or dangerous permissions and no internet permission. The only entry in its manifest is an internal permission that the AndroidX library adds to protect its own receivers; you never see or grant it. With no internet permission it cannot send your data off the device even in principle. You can confirm this on the Play Store listing under "App permissions". The one address in the app is the link to this page, which opens in your browser; the game itself never connects to anything.
Portwarden contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and the date above will change.
