Punchlist privacy policy

Last updated 05 September 2026

Punchlist collects nothing. This page explains what that means in practice.

What is collected

Nothing. Punchlist does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that belongs to us.

Where your data lives

Projects, plans, defect photos, contacts and generated reports are stored in this app's private storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded. A report leaves the phone only when you share it yourself through the Android share sheet, to whoever you choose.

Network

Punchlist does not request the INTERNET permission. It cannot send your data anywhere, because Android will not let it open a network connection at all. This is verifiable in the app's manifest on the Play listing.

Permissions

Children

Punchlist is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Analytics, ads and tracking

There are none. Punchlist contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash reporter. It does not use an advertising ID.

Your rights

Because nothing is collected or transmitted, there is nothing held about you to access, correct or delete on a server. Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device. Any in-app export gives you a copy of your own content in an open format.

Your client's site

Punchlist is used on sites that are not yours. Because the app has no network access, nothing it records can be transmitted from it, deliberately. Your export is the only copy that leaves the device, and you decide where it goes.

Branding

The logo and company details you enter for the report cover are stored on the device and only ever appear in reports you generate.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
